I wish I could see your darkest side first, before knowing the rest of you. So if I don't get scared then, I know I will never get scared. But you hide it so well, because of course, presentation is everything. And I always have to leave in a hurry from your soul, like from a new, comfortable house, where monsters and ghosts wake me up in terror from my peaceful sleep.

I run, leaving all my possessions behind. And I stand under a street lamp, watching you greet another smiling stranger that comes into your life with a suitcase of good intentions. They hope they're there to stay. I hope, for their sake, they're an exorcist. A good one, as I was not.
