Unusual Monday,
with people not containing their Saturday smiles,
crushed chlorophyll coming through
the city's stones.

And this is why, dear shadows, today,
I'll leave you standing by the side of the road.
You, who recited poetry to me,
with mathematical precision, and tight lips.
You, who blew smoke in my hair
and you,
with the brutal kisses.
