Autumn on repeat
Autumn, sudden like all awakenings. A furry, scared little creature who thought summer will never end, hidden under a pile of yellow, bitter leaves. Somewhere, very far, someone smiled at herself in the mirror. Her smile reverberated a continent away, making white curtains dance in the wind, in a place where it was still summer. But nobody noticed.
